Job Description


An exciting opportunity to join Experian’s EMEA & APAC team and lead the regional productisation of Credit Bureau scores. This role includes ownership of the product strategy, the PnL success and innovation across a broad range of geographies in EMEA & APAC. There is a significant opportunity for cross-fertilization of ideas and innovation whilst defining the benchmarks for best practice across the individual Credit Bureaus within our region.

The Credit Bureau score product portfolio is a key growth pillar for Experian EMEA & APAC and forms part of a rapidly growing portfolio of products designed to be a catalyst for growth in the region.

The Credit Bureau scores help consumers onto the credit ladder, whilst ensuring that the products they are offered are sustainable and affordable. These products play a pivotal role in society and the successful candidate will be passionate about the impact they can have.

What you’ll be Accountable for:

  • Overall Product Management ownership for Credit Bureau scores at a regional level.
  • Driving PnL outcomes taking accountability for top line growth (Revenue) and bottom line (EBIT)
  • Building the Credit Bureau scores roadmap defining short, medium and long-term views for the evolution of all relevant scores.
  • Driving innovation to create new Credit Bureau scores.
  • Monitoring, enhancement and sunsetting of existing CB scores where necessary.
  • Building go-to-market plans in collaboration with Market based Credit bureau teams (both local products and marketing leads).
  • Lead Business Case production in line with execution of the roadmap defining investment scale and Return on Investment, payback etc.
  • Working closely with the Analytics team (who build the scores) to ensure requirements are met and that there is close interlock with the Market centric GTM activity.
  • Help produce GTM documentation and tools to aid sales enablement in close collaboration with the Market teams.
  • Creating an Innovation process which brings together the various Credit Bureau communities and facilitates the sharing of ideas in a cross-fertilization process.

    • Delphi scores (New Business, Customer management, Collections, GeoDelphi, Commercial)
    • Consumer Debit Index
    • Fraud Scores
    • Thin-file Score
    • Nerverpay Score
    • Energy Score
    • Finance Score
    • Bankruptcy Score
    • GAR model
    • Sigma score, enhanced with Trended attributes
    • Nerverpay Score (ML)
    • Energy Score (ML)
    • Finance Score (ML)
    • eCommerce Score (ML)
    • Commercial Score + Premier attr. (POC)
    • Early warning scores

Revenue

  • Revenues by product and by country highlighting strong and weak performing scores.
  • Produce revenue forecasts in line with business cases, in-year and future year revenue forecasts.
  • Revenue forecasts to include both ‘top down’ market perspective and ‘bottom up’ unit sales perspectives.
  • Forecasting for budget planning and in-year revenue performance.

PnL

  • Produce business case and customer specific delivery costs for input to product and customer specific business cases
  • Drive cost efficiency through careful planning and through efficient use of platform infrastructure and virtual resources in order to drive lower unit costs to maximize commercial flexibility in the market.
  • Manage the regional budget for Credit Bureau Scores and report to the leadership on a regular basis.

Product Development

  • Work closely with the regional and global technology and product teams to keep up-to-date with key roadmap developments and produce a platform roadmap for the region which will inform and enable Product development / feature roadmap.
  • Work closely with the regional & Market Product and commercial leads to develop business cases for new products and services, producing cost and project timeline inputs to business cases.
  • Appoint the product development ‘constructors’, manage the commercial agreements as appropriate.

Programme Management

  • Manage the programme of Product delivery through a programme office delivering to internally and externally (customer) committed dates.
  • Create and own Risk management register for product development activities
  • Bring in broader stakeholders and appoint roles and responsibilities to deliver legal, commercial and GTM activities for new product development.
  • Create cadence structure and reporting to communicate progress, risks and issues to relevant stakeholder community such that they are fully informed.

How will we measure your success?

  • Achieving in-year revenue targets for Credit Bureau scores portfolio.
  • Achieving in-year EBIT targets for Credit Bureau scores portfolio.
  • Deliver product roadmap to time as defined with senior stakeholders.
  • Support achievement of ACV targets by:
    • Delivering the agreed Product roadmap
    • Producing documentation to assist GTM
    • Ensuring the timely availability of the ID&F platforms
    • Consulting with strategic deals in the Pre-sales phase to support deal closure

Qualifications


Experience

  • 5 Years + of Product management in a relevant field e.g. Credit management, Analytics
  • Matrix leadership experience across complex organizational structure at a senior level
  • Agile Product development experience
  • Innovation processes
  • Commercial Product Management experience (Profit and Loss ownership)
  • Product Life-cycle experience
  • Commercial and cost management understanding across complex platforms in multiple Geos
  • Multi-national collaboration on a multi-domestic basis.

Skills

  • A broad and deep knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies supporting the solutions
  • Product Management theory including product development, commercial acumen and GTM knowledge
  • Consultative experience and attitude; experience in developing products and underlying technology
  • Strong communication skills – both written, oral and presentation in English
  • Experience and ability to lead a project involving other technological competencies
  • Hold industry certifications, accreditations or specialisations and willingness to maintain and broaden them
  • Teamworker, performance driven individual & Excellent time-management skills
  • Used to work under tight time pressure, great sense of priority management
  • High level of communication and personal presence
  • Ability to facilitate and bring communities of interest together to achieve greater outcomes.
