As a Junior Fixed Income Specialist, you will play a crucial role in selecting, monitoring, and promoting our best-in-class fixed income opportunities in line with our clients' needs and the Bank’s growth ambitions. You are a passionate young investment professional and want to grow in the fascinating area of fixed income. Besides analytical skills you also have strong communication skills to promote these ideas internally and selectively to end clients.YOUR CHALLENGE
Responsible for generating bottom-up bond recommendations and investment ideas across the (non-)investment grade developed markets segment - all recommendations must adhere to the highest quality standards and ensure a proper lifecycle management (“initiation/monitoring/deletion”)
Providing guidance regarding risks and valuations of new bond issues and existing client holdings (incl. corporate actions)
Providing content for the manifold publications of Investment & Wealth Management Solutions addressing customers and/or relationship managers
Being the preferred point of contact for Investment Advisors, Mandate Advisors and Relationship Managers requiring professional bottom-up expertise regarding specific bond segments, issuers or bond issues
Participating selectively in client meetings and in desk meetings on an ad hoc basis
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in finance, economics or a related field
Interest to pursue or already successful acquisition of a professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus
3-5 years of relevant working experience in fixed income (asset management, portfolio management, research or advisory)
Profound understanding of bond markets and all kinds and characteristics of the various bond market segments and the detailed individual bond structures as well as the investment advisory process
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to handle bond related requests and to communicate in a simple language
Advanced excel skills are required
Ability to generate solutions in a pressurized environment
Private banking experience would be desirable
Fluent German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
