Job Description:Job Summary:

This Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) Analyst invests in the future of Southwest’s People in their work utilizing and analyzing data in our Facilities Department in order to track Southwest initiatives related to planning, growth, and optimization. This Analyst is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of facilities utilized by Southwest Airlines. Typical projects include the development of airport facilities (including those in new cities), Reservations Centers, Maintenance Hangars, Crew Bases, Provisioning Bases, and the renovation and expansion of existing facilities system-wide. This role evaluates the impact of current and future schedules of the 90+ airport facilities. Additionally, they’ll support the various Facilities Teams and any Internal/External Customer requests. This role helps to coordinate and maintain our CAFM system and populate CAFM data on a timely basis, and they’ll update AutoCAD and Revit as-built plans using record drawings, field verification, a combination of both, and by using our Move Module. The CAFM Analyst is excited to support and champion the innovative work and initiatives in this space, and they’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow in their expertise each day. This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with other departments to gather relevant data to optimize the use of Southwest Airlines Spaces
Combine our current software to create a full IWMS
Update as-built CAD drawings and create links to the CAFM solution
Develop and maintain standards/guidelines/policies for archiving of CAD files and updating of the CAFM system
Maintain master CAD files for all sites
Create reports from the CAFM database
Stay up to date on changes and updates on CAFM systems
Acts as the subject matter expert to the team for the CAFM system, as-built drawings, as-built file management, and application-related support
May prepare materials for and lead or participate in project review meetings, QA testing, and work with other vendors and other departments
Develop best practices methods for AutoCAD layer conversions for an optimum merging of drawings from different sources for creating master as-built drawings
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction buildings, or other structures
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Knowledge of data analytics
Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Required: Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
AutoCAD
Revit
Space/occupancy planning
BOMA standards.
Using FM Systems or similar CAFM systems for space management.
Generating reports from CAFM systems
Preferred: Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
20-30% Travel Required
Occasional overtime or weekend work required
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $80,350 per year to $89,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
