A summer intern in Aker BP will give you 6-8 weeks of practical experience within a relevant field of expertise and a taste of what it’s like to work for us. You will socialize with other summer interns, grow your professional network, and learn from experienced professionals.
You will be a part of an inclusive and enthusiastic department responsible for the earliest stages of a project. It’s in these early stages different concepts are identified and evaluated. And it’s in these phases you can really impact the value of a project. Our tasks span from initiatives within CO2 reduction, topside optimization, future operations, development of hydrocarbon project and CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage).
Typical work tasks can be to support the project managers on daily tasks, organize data related to new opportunities, help the Concept Development Leadership Team with ongoing initiatives and improvements.
Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs combined with your field of expertise and your interests.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a relevant master program within economics or a technical discipline, and is in your 3rd or 4th year
You are curious and like to challenge established truths
You like to work in a multidisciplinary team
English and Norwegian language working proficiency
