Job Summary
- Assist with development, implementation and and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Assist with the interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
- Provide support to estimate manufacturing cost and determines time standards.
- Makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Assist with the maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Assist with the production group and answer questions regarding product design.
- Work with customers to determine product specifications and design changes.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Work with team members in understanding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Assist with statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
