About the position
As Area Manager, Europe you will belong to the Global Customer & Delivery Team within IT operations - consisting of Customer & Delivery Manager, Service Delivery Manager and Lifecycle Manager. This new team is located across Sweden, Finland, and the US. As Area Manager, you will mainly be responsible for emphasis on people, processes, and performance management over the skills and you will act as operative manager. E.g., you will have a responsibility to ensure a great work environment where safety comes first.

Your mission together with your team is to ensure service, collaboration and dialog with our stakeholder who rely on IT operations of infrastructure services on our sites in Division Europe. You will work in close collaboration with production management and organization. As a member of the Customer & Delivery management team, you will also have the important mission to transfer site-specific needs towards Group IT and vice versa. In this role, you will find that operational excellence is achieved through teamwork.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a proven leader who have a rooted understanding of what service management is all about, not necessarily from IT. We expect you to have well developed and proven skills in change leadership for build up new team, an understanding for business and a positive spirit. As a leader, we want you to be communicative with a clear drive to achieve your goals together with your team. You need to have a structured approach to your work and a clear focus on users' needs to be successful. As a person, you are probably not the one that turns down a challenge and makes positive use of the opportunities presented to you.
