Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of financial records, including accounts inventory, within the textile sector.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of inventory transactions and associated accounting entries.
- Perform detailed inventory checking, ensuring proper valuation and adherence to accounting standards.
- Post inventory-related transactions to appropriate accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory levels.
- Assist in stocktaking activities, coordinating with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data and prepare reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to inventory management and accounting practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in auditing, accounts inventory checking, posting, and stocktaking, preferably in the textile sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory valuation methods, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
