A: BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEMBERS
1. Always look to interact with members and offer fitness advice. Always aim to go the extra mile when connecting with members to maximize member experience.
2. Promote Fitness initiatives.
3. Always look proactive and be professional at all times and assist all members where required
4. Spot members needing assistance
5. Assist with member complaints in a professional manner
B: CONDUCTING FITNESS INITIATIVES
1. Promote and ensure facilitating of all classes advertised or requested
2. Conduct a safe Group class based programme.
3. Report on your class participation
4. Conduct inductions with new members as and when required.
5. Conduct equipment orientation and demonstrate techniques for new members as part of the induction.
C: ADHERING TO OPERATIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1. Comply to Brand Standards.
2. Adhere to standard operating procedures
3. Conduct yourself in a proper manner, uphold the conditions as laid out in your expectations document.
4. Complete all required checklists thoroughly and report on any concerns.
5. Remain updated and check all communications
6. Ensure club rules and regulations are adhered to.
7. Ensure all weights are packed away to maintain a safe floor and ensure that the studio is clean, tidy and packed neatly
8. Obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid qualifications
9. Familiarise and remain updated with emergency exits and procedures
10. Ensure all junior members are addressed regarding the rules and usage of equipment.
11. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your actions.
12. Understand and maintain the personal training pricing and packages that are set by management.
13. Ensure that clients pay up front at reception and receive the training vouchers
14. Ensure that you do not sell any product or service to clients that are not formally endorsed by the Beach Club.
D: ACTIVELY MANAGING ONGOING TRAINING AND SELF-DEVELOPMENT
1. Maximise self-development through training and regular weekly fitness meetings.
2. Attend training courses as required.
3. Understand how all other areas of the club operate on an ongoing basis
4. Ensure full understanding of the Brand Standards and understand your role in upholding these standards.
5. Participate in club drills to keep remain refreshed of all emergency procedures
E: DESIGN SAFE AND EFFECTIVE EXERCISE PROGRAMS
1. Design exercise programs that are safe and effective and which promotes compliance and member satisfaction
2. Demonstrate and instruct on the correct techniques that are to be used for all equipment and floor based exercise.
3. Include any recommendations made by a medical professional in the program.
F: BUILD A SUSTAINABLE PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT BASE BY CONTINUALLY ADDING NEW CLIENTS AND RETAINING EXISTING CLIENTS
1. Develop long-standing professional relationships with clients to ensure that they will keep coming to you for their personal training needs.
2. Ensure that individual personal training package targets are met as determined by your line manager.
G: COMPLETING AND MAINTAINING ACCURATE PERSONAL TRAINING CLIENT RECORDS AND MAINTAINING APPROPRIATE PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
1. Ensure that your client understands the content of the client agreement and that a copy is filed in your client record file.
2. Recognise your limitations in services and techniques. Engage only in professional activities that fall within the boundaries of your credentials and competencies.
