The Opportunity:
The role of Facilities Manager is to manage a range of commercial CBD sites during holiday leave. You will be report into the State Facilities Manager and be based from their corporate head office, with visits out onto site. (All sites are walking distance).
You will carry out the following:
- Managing all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, repairs, security, and safety
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts
- Being the main point of contact for any escalations of tenant queries relating to facilities management issues

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A degree or trade qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills
- A strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Experience managing contractors and providing a first class customer service to tenants.
